The 2023 Bristol Bay Fly Fishing & Guide Academy will be at Mission Lodge this year, June 4th-10th, an excellent opportunity for young adults interested in learning more about the industry. Mission Lodge is owned by BBNC and located north of Dillingham on Lake Aleknagik. The Academy covers all the program costs if an individual is accepted.
The Bristol Bay Fly Fishing and Guide Academy is a week-long course that teaches fly fishing skills and explores career opportunities in the sport fishing industry. It is an excellent opportunity for young adults to build leadership skills and learn more about being caretakers of our salmon resources. Young adults interested in learning to fly fish and exploring a career as a sportfishing guide in Bristol Bay will be given priority placement.
